Recycle unwanted stuff

Reporter

So you have an apartment to vacate and you're not keen to haul that old dresser your aunt gave you back home in the trunk of your Volkswagen Golf.

Well OK, that's understandable. But don't just dump it on the sidewalk for the garbage man, it will only add to the growing pile at the dump. Somebody else might want, even need, what you no longer do.

Used clothing, furniture and appliances can be sold (and bought) on the McGill Classifieds. The McGill online classified ads are a service provided by the Web Service Group to all members of the University community. Although perusal of these ads is open to the public, only members of the McGill community may post ads through this service. If your ad brings no takers, you can try donating your unwanted stuff to the Salvation Army or other similar organizations that may pick up them up from your home free of charge.
