Forces of the future

The world is becoming a better place thanks to the inspired and dedicated efforts of McGill students like Lina H. Kalfayan, Yunlu Shen and Samuel Vaillancourt, if the 2006 Forces AVENIR awards shortlist is any indication.

Forces AVENIR, which promotes and recognizes social engagement and humanitarian vision among Quebec university students, has named not only these three McGill students as 2006 finalists but also six McGill-based student initiatives: Project Re-CYCLE, Ashraya Initiative for Children, Innocence McGill, Community Health Action Partnership, McGill Journal of Medicine and Aprender Canada.
