McGill Martlets fans have become accustomed to watching goalie Kim St-Pierre make the sorts of saves that draw gasps from a crowd. Now the whole country has seen her strut her stuff. Named the top women's goalie at the Salt Lake City Olympics, St-Pierre saved her best game for the end, a nail-biting 3-2 victory over the arch-rival U.S. team. The gold medal winner is on leave from her studies in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education and is currently playing for Team Quebec at the senior women's national championships.
