A royal visit

Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet of the Netherlands and her husband, Mister Pieter Van Vollenhoven, were on campus May 11 as guests of honour at the roundtable "From Liberation to Integration with a Special Emphasis on the European Constitution". The event was organized by the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Montreal and the Jean Monnet Chair in European Integration, a research unit affiliated to Centre d'études et de recherches internationales de l'Université de Montréal, in commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands by the Canadian Armed Forces.
