Celebrate the 100-year anniversary of McGill's Faculty of Music by joining the McGill Community Choir. Under the leadership of founding Musical Director and Associate Director of the McGill Conservatory of Music Dean Jobin-Bevans, all academic and administrative and support staff, along with anyone who enjoys being associated with McGill, now have the opportunity to participate in a home-grown choir. Rehearsals will begin this fall.

The Centre for University Teaching and Learning (CUTL) will become Teaching
and Learning Services (TLS). The TLS will work on academic development at all
levels: instructional, organizational, professional and personal. The TLS
will administer the McGill Teaching and Learning Improvement Fund (formerly
the Royal Bank Fund), and collaborate with departmental, faculty and
University administrators and support units, as well as individual teaching
staff, to support, develop and improve teaching at McGill. It will be headed
by an academic director, reporting directly to the Deputy Provost and CIO.
Profs. Lynn McAlpine and Cynthia Weston will alternate interim directorship
until June 2005, when a new director will be appointed.
