When you're hot, you're hot

A paper on the use of water in organic chemistry by McGill chemist and Canada Research Chair in Green Chemistry Chao-Jun (C.J.) Li, has been named by the American Chemical Society (ACS) as one of its top five "hot papers." Li's article was named because it was among the five most cited papers published by the society over the last two years. Li's achievement is even more remarkable given that some 12,000 ACS papers were published in this period.
