Once upon a time, in an almost-forgotten age long, long ago (let's say, 2001) to attend McGill's Convocation ceremonies, you'd actually have to… wait for it… attend the ceremonies. In person. Can you believe the primitiveness? If your parents lived in South Korea, there was no way they could kvell (what's "kvell" in Korean?) in parental joy while watching you receive your diploma. How times have changed. Not only can your parents, cousins, friends, co-workers and casual acquaintances watch you graduate in real time via the live Convocation webcast, they can all relive the experience endlessly via the webcast archive. The first URL listed above links you to all Spring 2008 convocations, both live and archived. The second link takes you to a MediaSite catalogue page with archived convocations from 2005, 2006 and 2007 linked in the left-hand menu.
