Canada Foundation for Innovation Program Office

The vice-principal (research) announces with regret that Barbara Ouimet has stepped down as manager of the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) Program Office, for personal reasons. Ms. Ouimet has done an outstanding job over the last two years in improving McGill's performance on the CFI front, both in the obtaining of new awards and in the management of the awards we have obtained. She has created an office that operates in a highly professional manner, raising greatly our standing with the CFI. The resignation was effective January 31, but Ms. Ouimet will assist with the office on a part-time basis for the interim period.
