Letter from the editor

It's the time of year to take a break and raise a glass of cheer in good company, and revel in the graces we have. With these year's end reflections often comes change, too. Resolutions are made, bad habits are spurned, good deeds envisioned.

The Reporter office will undergo a change by the New Year's beginning. An integral part of our staff will be moving on. Laurie Devine, our editorial assistant and advertising coordinator, is heading to Development and Alumni Relations as a project manager for the McGill News. Replacing her considerable multitasking energies will be recent Concordia University creative writing program grad Catherine Paquette, whom we warmly welcome to the team.

The Reporter will be back on the stands January 13 (see our publishing schedule at www.mcgill.ca/reporter/rates) and we at the Reporter hope everyone has a splendid holiday full of cheer. A few deep breaths and relaxing moments should revitalize us all.

Maeve Haldane
Editor, The Reporter
