Herschel Victor Lobby

On September 20, the Herschel Victor Lobby in the Bronfman Building was officially inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Victor was honoured and thanked on behalf of the Faculty of Management for his generous donation of more than one million dollars. The money was used for the design and renovations to the lobby and bistro, the first major facelift of the ground floor since the building opened in 1972. Also included in the remodelling were a relocation and enlargement of the BCom office, additions to the Management Career Centre, an outdoor patio outside the new Bronfman Bistro and changes to the size of Room 178.

Herschel Victor is chairman and CEO of Jack Victor Ltd, a men's clothing manufacturer. He graduated from McGill in 1944 with a BCom.
