Office of the Provost

Following the departures of Provost Luc Vinet for the position of Recteur of Université de Montréal, and of his assistant Béatrice Kowaliczko, Associate Provost (Academic Services) Nicholas de Takacsy, and Associate Provost (Academic Programs) Martha Crago (now Vice-rectrice à la vie étudiante at Université de Montréal), the Office of the Provost has organized itself as follows:

• Deputy-Provost and Chief Information Officer Anthony C. Masi is assuming the function of Interim Provost.
• Katherine Wong and Naomi Belinsky continue to assist him in his additional function in their respective positions as Office Manager and Administrative Assistant. Joanna Gacek and Nancy St. Pierre continue to serve the Office in their respective roles as Administrative Assistant and Acting Secretary.
• Professor Morton J. Mendelson, formerly Associate-Dean (Academic) in the Faculty of Science, has taken on the responsibilities of Associate-Provost (Academic Programs and Services) which were in the portfolios of former Associate Provost (Academic Services) Nicholas de Takacsy and of Associate-Provost (Academic Programs) Martha Crago - for a five-year mandate.

Professor James Nemes, formerly Associate Dean (Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies), has taken over Professor Martha Crago's responsibilities as Dean (Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies) in an interim capacity.

The Arts Internship Office has resources available to help you find your ideal internship. Last year, over 100 of your colleagues interned in 90 organizations in 33 countries on four continents. We have a database of over 600 internship opportunities. We have PDF files on over 100 organizations.

While it is your responsibility to secure your internship, we are here to help you with your resumé and your letter of application. And once you know where you will be interning, we will advise you on what innoculations and visas you need, and on anything and everything else, to ensure that you will have the best experience possible.
